The classic Prince Nymph gets a modern, flashier update. Long known for its peacock herl body, biot legs, and soft hackle collar, the original Prince has fooled trout for over a century by imitating a bit of everything—caddis, stoneflies, and mayflies—without matching anything too specifically. This version swaps in a jig hook for better bottom-tracking and fewer snags, and flashy tinsel replaces the white biots for getting their attention. It's a versatile, year-round attractor fly—especially effective when you can't dial in what they are eating—and it still holds one of the best names in the history of fly tying.
